LIVE WEBINAR SERIES

Part 2: Prioritizing Alignment

Map vs. Territory: Finding Ground Truth

A live, 60-minute session covering the second half of the Map vs. Territory framework: diagnosing what kind of gap you're looking at, prioritizing what needs attention, and building a real action plan live. Built from the same framework as the self-paced Kit, with me in the room live.

What This Session Covers

  • How to diagnose whether a gap you've found is Type A (an outdated map), Type B (a drifted territory), or Type C (both), and why the fix is different for each
  • How to prioritize what you found: what needs attention in the next 30 days, what can wait 90, and what just needs monitoring
  • The seven-part action plan structure, built live against a real example, so you leave with the start of an real plan in hand by the end of our session
  • What's typical for your organization's stage (startup, growth, established, post-merger) so you know whether what you found is a normal growing pain or a genuine outlier
  • The six red flags that mean a gap needs outside support, not just a worksheet, discussed live so you can ask directly: is this one of them, for us?

What You Leave With

A prioritized list of what to fix first, the start of a real action plan for your top gap, and an honest read, in real time, on whether anything you found needs more than a DIY fix.

Format

One live 60-minute session on Zoom, plus live Q&A. Offered as a scheduled open session or booked privately for your own leadership team. Worksheets covering diagnosis, prioritization, and the action plan are included.

Who This Is For

Leaders who already have a working list of gaps, whether from Part 1, the self-paced Kit, or their own instincts, and want live help turning that list into an actual, prioritized plan rather than working it out alone.

A note on order: this session assumes you've already named some gaps. Most people take Part 1 (Naming the Gap) first, or work through the self-paced Kit's early lessons, before booking this one. If you already know your organization's gaps cold, you can start here directly.

About Your Instructor

Finding ground truth is what she has always done, first as an interviewer listening for what a story was actually about beneath what people said on camera, now as an operator listening for what an organization actually values beneath its official story.
