Cain has been slacking off his homework for the past 10 weeks, so aside from getting daily e-mails from his teachers, I have also given him a chance to make it up to me by writing a 500-word essay a week or a 500-word essay for each television program or movie he watches. (Clever of me to ground him from TV w/o really saying it in so many words huh?) He’s written two so far, with two more in the works, just in need of some editing for the final draft. The current one he is working on is entitled “10 Ways to Piss Off Your Mom”. I share it with you in its unedited 12-year-old boy misspelled scrawl (the numbers down the side of each page are his word count per line)
